Just cause........

Good morning all my cyber buddies!!

I hope that your weekend was a wonderful one. I enjoyed mine!! In fact I am still enjoying it today as I am off work and working around the house a bit. The rain has stopping here and the sun is shining and promises to be a beautiful day.

Today I have made a card with many folds to share with you. I have never made a card like this one before. It is interesting and has tons of layers. I love layers!! I have used one of my little hAnglar sweeties and have her sitting on some beautiful vincas. They are from Judi at Angel's Landing. I love to take her flowers and sit cute little images out on top of them! I have used the *NEW set called Nature Chipmunk & Vinca. These set have over 12 images in the collection and PERFECT to use in so many ways. Make sure to pop over to Angel's Landing and have a look. The possibilties are endless.

If you missed my card that I did with the little hAnglar boy and the Angel's Landing Nature Bunny & Violets you can click here to see it. I have used my copic markers to color my images. I have added stickles to the wings for a bit of added sparkle. Now over at Make it Crafty this week the challenge is make a Sky Background so I did just that and I have a photo posted below with how I have done just that using my distressed inks.

Basic Grey has a challenge this week for more than one fold and so that is why I have done this type of card.

Here you can see the first opening of the card. I have used papers from: Basic Grey, Doodle Bug, Bo Bunny and Bazzill cardstocks. Not really much for embellies today with card. Just a ribbon, piece of trim and sparkle brads. and the last opening of my card. As you can see there is lots of room for your message. Now just how did I do my sky background? As you can see I have used my Ranger distressed inks, sponge pad and I have cut a cloud shape from just plain old computer paper. I have sit the cloud on my image and sponged around it. Then I lifted it up and moved it and did it again until I was happy with all the look of the clouds. If you look close you will see that on some of them I have inked all the way around the little cloud and then others I have only inked around part of it. I love to make back grounds like this and I haven't for such a long time. If you haven't tried this I hope that you will as it is fun!!

Copic Markers, Ranger inks and stickles can be purchased at Michelle's scrapbooking and More for some of the best pricing on the web!! HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

I would love to hear what you think about my card.

Angels Landing and little hAnglar boy..

Hello my blogging friends...
Today I have a very fun card to show you.
I love these images!!
Judi from ANGELS LANDING contacted me and ask if I would be interested in doing up a card or so with her *NEWEST RELEASE*. She sent me a link to this very beautiful fun set of images just in time for Easter Cards. Now of course I said YES!!!!! And you will see many cards from this set of digis on my blog for Easter.
BEAUTIFUL and so fun to color!!
The name of the collection is..
I believe there is over 12 images in this collection and PERFECT for EASTER!! Really you should hop over there and check it out!!
I have used 2 of the images from the digi collection. The oval with the violets and the writing around the oval. Then I have used my knife and cut the top of the flowers away so that I could sit my cute little hAnglar boy in those Beautiful flowers. I have popped him just a tad with foam. I see so many possibilities with this set of images. I really am glad that Judi ask me if I would showcase for her. I do hope that I have done her image up to her standards.
I had a blast coloring those flowers and leaves!!
I have colored my images with my copic markers.
Pink: RV10 RV32 RV34
Green: YG67 G40 G82 G94
shirt: BG10 BG18 BG72 BG75
Jeans: B91 B93 B95 B97
Hair E37 E53 E59
Papers: Melissa Frances, K& Company and Bazzill cardstocks.
Embellies: ribbons. trim, butterfly, button and a few pearls.
I have used my sewing machine and used my Ranger distressed inks for the edges of my papers.
Copic Markers and Ranger inks can both be purchased at Michelle's scrapbooking and More for some of the best pricing on the web!!

a few challenges I would like to enter:
