Magnolia DT Challenge card.....

Good Afternoon!!!!! Yes, this my second post for the day.
It's time for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge

The challenge this week is PAPER TOLE..3D

Okay, as for me I have not done a true Paper Tole for my card today but more of the 3D thing.Paper tole is the same image stacked and the edges curled as you stack. I only have one of each image and popped with foam. :o) Let me tell you why..

I had all of the pieces for this card done and cut out sitting on my table here and my 55 pound dog came in and jumped up and bumped my arm while I had a cup of HOT coffee. Oh yes you guessed it!!! I spilled al over my hand and my artwork!!!!!! uhgggggggggg! So I had to start again with most of the pieces. :o(

I have a very red nasty burn all over the top of my hand! uhggggggggg..

Do I need to say I about cried!! The dog was put outside and left there ALL DAY! :o(

I still LOVE him but such a stinker!!!

here is my card........... For my card I have masked the fence and butterfly background together and then I have popped and cut out my Tilda, birdhouse, butterfies and mushroom. I have colored all images with my copic markers and watercolor pencils. As you can see I have not use anything other than a few pearls and a big bow for my embellies. The scene is the whole card. I have used my new Martha Stewart punch for 2 of the edges and then the whole scene has been popped. The birdhouse, Tilda and mushroom have been popped again onto the background. I had to make a stick /pole for my birdhouse. As I couldn't just have it sitting up there in mid air. LOL...In the last picture I hope you can see the popped images. I have used my stickles on parts of the images to give it that little extra sparkle.

If you don't have them and want to purchase them you can find them at Michelle's Scrapbooking. One of my favorite places to spend my money. She has a lot of cute stamps. And the service is top notch!! So stop over and give her a visit. I have also used some of the *NEW* cute stamps by Renee Mullins. Look at how cute that hat is on the CC DESIGNS fairy! Nope they don't go together but a perfect fit!! Doesn't she look so cute peeking out from behind that flower with that cute little hat on? I also have photos of the inside of my card today so that you can see 2 more of Renee's Designs. I JUST LOVE THEM!! Renee has Tole painting books out and has had for many years and I have painted many of her designs and now I can paint her stamps!!! So excited!!!!!!!!!!!!! She has the most wonderful designs. You can see her things at http://plumpurdy.com/

IF you didn't see my other card with 2 of the CC DESIGNS fairies scroll down my blog to Tuesdays post and you can see how cute they all are.

I have decided that this card will fit a few different challenges. I will be posting it at Friday Sketchers for the wonderful Sketch that I followed. Also at Colour Create for the colors used Pistachio Green, Aqua Blue and Powder Pink and at Stamp Something Challenge as their challenge is for Embellished Something's. You have to have at least 3 embellishments on your item. I have plenty of those!!

I am hoping to post my July 4th things tomorrow. See you then I need to run to the Post office right now before they close for the day.

Wishing you all a great weekend,
janny
