It's time for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge
The challenge this week is PAPER TOLE..3D
Okay, as for me I have not done a true Paper Tole for my card today but more of the 3D thing.Paper tole is the same image stacked and the edges curled as you stack. I only have one of each image and popped with foam. :o) Let me tell you why..
I had all of the pieces for this card done and cut out sitting on my table here and my 55 pound dog came in and jumped up and bumped my arm while I had a cup of HOT coffee. Oh yes you guessed it!!! I spilled al over my hand and my artwork!!!!!! uhgggggggggg! So I had to start again with most of the pieces. :o(
I have a very red nasty burn all over the top of my hand! uhggggggggg..
Do I need to say I about cried!! The dog was put outside and left there ALL DAY! :o(
I still LOVE him but such a stinker!!!
here is my card...........
For my card I have masked the fence and butterfly background together and then I have popped and cut out my Tilda, birdhouse, butterfies and mushroom. I have colored all images with my copic markers and watercolor pencils. As you can see I have not use anything other than a few pearls and a big bow for my embellies. The scene is the whole card. I have used my new Martha Stewart punch for 2 of the edges and then the whole scene has been popped. The birdhouse, Tilda and mushroom have been popped again onto the background. I had to make a stick /pole for my birdhouse. As I couldn't just have it sitting up there in mid air. LOL...In the last picture I hope you can see the popped images. I have used my stickles on parts of the images to give it that little extra sparkle.
