Today will be my last challenge post as a DT member for Creative Inspirations. I want to thank all of the girlies over there. They are the sweetie people. I have made good friends that I hope to keep. I will miss you girlies!

I have made my bookmark using a digi for the Elisabeth Bell Digi Collection. The name of the stamp is A Tasty Read I have colored her with my copic markers and watercolor pencils added a few ribbons, tassel and of course I always have to add flowers. I have used a bit of crystal Lacquer on the apple to make it shine but I don't think you can see it in the photo. I have also sewn the image to the long part of the bookmark.

Creative Inspiration POP UP CARD....

Hello everyone,

It's Wednesday again already and time for the Creative Inspiration
CHALLENGE 73 -

This week we are making a POP - UP CARD!
I have to tell you there are so many different types of POP -UP cards out there. The DT has all done a FABBY job with different types of them. Make sure that you stop my the blog and check it out.

I tell you that I had a blast doing this. I love to make little scenes and this is a BIG 3-D type scene. lol.

This next photo is of the front of my card.I LOVE these papers!

I have made the front to hold a gift card for the Birthday girl to go shopping.

So in the first photo you will not see the pocket but in the second one I have slid a paper the size of a gift card so you can see the placement. The front sentiment has been done on the computer.

Okay as I have told you all for a week I would show a few pictures from CHA.

This first photo is not a good one but I just had to share with you.

Diana took all out to dinner after the show on Wednesday evening and she and the girl's are the sweetie people. I tell you that I felt right at home with them.

This cute little house stamp is #509 # 9 HOUSE and can be bought at Magnolia-licious.

This card is a plain jane card for me as the image is big and I just felt that it didn't need much to go with it.

I used my copic markers and watercolor pencils to color it. I have used the computer to do the wording. i have also used brads, ribbon, flowers and TIM HOLTZ clear hang tag.

Today I have done things just a tad different. Instead of making my normal size card. I have made a gift bag tag card with a gift bag. I was surfing the web last week and ran into this tutorial to use the round spellbinder nestie to make a baby carriage. I found it on Niki Estes blog. If you click on her name it will take straight there.

Now isn't that cute???
It was very fun and easy to do. Her tutorial is very easy to follow. I have added my own touches to her original instructions. I have used a very cute Precious Moments baby image.

I have also used buttons on my wheels and I have added a few extra pieces for the shade header with some lace and a bow with prima flowers.I have altered a gift bag with papers to match the card, Prima Flowers, ribbon and a cute little rattle.
I will put a string on the card and hang it from the bag when I need to use the bag.
I think it is very fun and a very cute idea.

I have used a very new image from the Pixie Cottage. I love the dress!! It is so romantic!! It is so hard to see in the photos but down in the left hand corner te metal does say: LIVE..LOVE..LAUGH!! Creative Inspirations DT card..

It's time for the Creative Inspirations Challenge.
This week the challenge is FAIRIES.

I am not so thrilled with the way this card turned out. I love the colors but I had such high hopes for these two stamps and it just didn't happen the way I wanted.

I did get both of these stamps at the STAMP SHOW in Ohio at the end of last month. Just getting around to using them. The fairy is from Stamp Oasis and the Thinking of You is from Outlines Rubber Stamp Company. I have colored the images with my watercolor pencils and copic markers. I have added stickles to parts of both images for that little bit of sparkle. I have used papers from Pink Paislee, UPSYDAISY DESIGNS, and Creative Imaginations will bazzill cardstock. I have used distressted ink on all of the edges added a few pearls a bit of pretty ribbon a tack and a photo brass photo holder. This card has been sewn. The flowers that you see popped are hand cut out of the paper and I added a bit of stickles to them.Pile It On has Cute & Cuddly up for Challenge #18 so I will list this over ther this week.

Oh I almost forgot... Sorry that my blog is a bit of a mess.. I am under going a little bit of construction right now. I hope to have it all done very soon.

I am still working on my son's new place so my time is still limited but I will be back on Saturday with 2 yes I said 2 posts at different times. I hope you will stop back by to see what I have done for 2 different Guest DT's.

Creative Inspirations DT card

Hello everyone, I am home!! Very tired but home. I had such a great time relaxing with my friend (Michelle) and her family. We had a great time at the stamp show and of course spent money on NEW stamps!! I have a few of them colored up and hope to have cards made with them soon. We took a class with TIm Holtz and made some fun items too!
