HAPPY VALENTINE........

Good evening everyone,

I hope your day of Love was a great one. It has been relaxing here and can't wait to sit down in front of the TV after dinner and have a long rest. I thought I had better come and sign on and upload my box of candy I altered.

I made my box of bought candy into something *SPECIAL* and personal. As you can see I just bought a normal box of chocolates in a tin and then I made a band to go around it with cutout hearts, doilies, ribbon, flowers and a very cute H&S image that I masked with the basket of hearts. The heart on the back of the band is made from a very soft and pretty piece of velvet feel paper. I took some eyelet lace and sewed it around it and attached it the band so that it all will slip off of the candy tin. I have colored my images with my copic markers.

Sugar Nellie DT NEW digi fairies.........

Good morning,

Today I have and very cute digi image from SUGAR NELLIE up for showing. This image can be purchased at Funkykits and it's only $2.00!!! What a deal!!

Over at Cute Card Thursday the challenge is Fairy Fantastic. So I will enter my card there this week.

Mojo Monday has a great sketch as always!

Okay so I couldn't decide which sketch to use. LOL.. So why not do a square round?? LOL

I did the round sketch and popped it on a sqaure card. I think it turned out great.

I have used both of the sketches from Mojo Monday.

I have used my watercolor pencils to color these little sweeties. Done a little bit of stitching added a few dew drops on the corners along with a checked ribbon a few flowers and a beautiful butterfly charm.

Papers are a mixture as usual.

Okay, now I didn't know just how I was going to get the scallops around the edge of my circle. So it did take some tall thinking and this is how I did it. See my punch? I punched flowers and then I glued them to the back of the round before I popped it on the card. EASY FIX! So by doing this I can enter this card in the Simon Says Challenge. The challenge is PUNCH IT this week.

Vintage foo foo hAngler

Hello all,

My card today is for 2 challenges. I have to tell you that Kathy at Destressed Stamper inspired me for this card. Her work is so lovely. She also got me to get out my Tim Holtz tickets and use them. I have mixed a *new-ish* look with a *vintage-y* look. I think the end result is just simply beautiful. Thanks Kathy!! This card is going to be posted over at Simon Says Stamp. Yep your right it's because of Kathy!!! The challenge is to use products from Tim Holtz. I use his products each time that I make a card. I love his distressed inks. But I did also use a ticket from his idea-ology line. I will also post this over at The SECRET Crafter Saturday Challenge. The challenge is to use Bling. Well, I do think that this card defiantly has a ton of bling!! hee hee..... Thanks Jill for the push to use my bling as I am not such a blingy type of girl.. :o)
