Apple Pie anyone???

Hello everyone, Thursday is here so the week is almost at a close. I need Saturday to be here so I can stay home and get caught up here. :o) So many things need to be done. Just can't get on the top of it like I want.

Well, on to my card for today. I have made this little card with someone in mind. I won't tell you who as she does visit my blog and leaves me very sweet comments. I have used the sketch from Sketch Saturday and used the recipe from Stamp Something....
The recipe is......
1 ribbon, 2 papers, 3 embellishments (this can be a total of 3 or 3 different kinds)
I love this *NEW little image from the Greeting Farm. I did get all 4 of them and they are so cute. THis one is Twinkle Tot 'Lottie' and I purchased her from Elaine at Quixotic Paperie. So I just happen to know that the challenge at Quixotic Challenge blog is ***STITCHING***. I will also enter it there and that will be a first for me.

Wishing you all a wonderful Thursday and a Great weekend. Not sure I will be back until Sunday. Lots to do.
hugs, janny

Learning To Read........Birthday card...

Good Monday morning peeps,
My card today features the**Learning To Read** Mo's Digital Pencil. This weeks challenge is to use colors that remind you of Fall and to use only 2 embellishments. The image does not have to be a Fall image, although it can, just use colors that remind you of Fall. I have chosen greens, browns, rust, purples. The 2 embellies I have chosen are brads and Swarovski Crystals. Notice the brads in the corners on the designs running down the left side of the card and on the image it's self. I also have used the crystals on the image as the bling. So talking about bling over at Stamp Something this week they want bling. So I will be entering this card over there also. The sentiment is by Stamp'in up and I think it is perfect for this image. I have made this card for my son's birthday on Saturday. He loves wizards and such. On the inside I have made a little pocket to put a few little gift cards in for him. I really think he will like it. He tells me all of the time I never have time to make things for him anymore so now he can't say that.. Can he???
Have a wonderful day everyone...

Thanks for all of the feedback that you leave me. I greatly appreciate it!
hugs, janny

Buddy Blog Hop......Happy Holidays....

Good Monday morning,

I hope you all had a great weekend. I did nothing much but rest up as I have been so tired from all the long hours at work. But now I am behind on my housework and my favorite type of relax time (card making).
My card today features the Noelle Bearing Gifts from Mo's Digital Pencil. I LOVE IT.. It is so detailed and cute. Just like the last few weeks Judy and Dena have used the same image on their cards and have them posted on their blogs for your viewing. It is so fun to do this and see just how different the same image can be worked up. So click on their names to check out what they have done with the image! I am always amazed how gorgeous these girls cards are and how different they all are from each other.

I have been so excited this week as I was in the top 5 for 2 different challenge blogs. First of all over at Stampin For The Weekend and then at Stamp Something. Yeah!!! LOL... I know silly me!!! I will be posting this card over at Stamp Something as their challenge is for your FAVORITE EMBELLISHMENT. I think that right now my favorite embellie is pearls. I know it will change but for now that is it..
