It's Your Special Day!!

 Hello everyone!! 

I am back again today to share a very fun project using an old

 wooden cigar box. 

 

It's my turn to post at the

I have used 2 very cute images from the 2013 Winter CHA Release. I have masked together the very cute Top Hat & Tails and the gorgeous Zsa Zsa they are from the Cutie Pies Collection. I have also used a sentiment that I felt is perfect from the Warm and Fuzzy Birthday Sentiments

Some of the patterned papers are from the "Summer Sorbet" collection, which I just LOVE!!

 Papers:"Summer Sorbet" collection, American Craft.
Cardstock: Bazzill
Ink: Memento, Copic Markers, Tim Holtz Distress Ink around paper edges (worn Lipstick) I have also used Tea Dye around the box edge.
Accessories: Tulle, ribbons, paper flowers, pearls,Charms (heart, key) Book board hearts, rhinestones, Down in the right hand corner I have used a Metal photo corner (I have painted it white) . I found this very heavy OLD metal key turn in my box of finds. I have dry brushed it with white paint. I have used stickles for around the Summer Sorbet pink paper edge and around the sentiment and on the crown and dress of Zsa Zsa.

Dies: Go Create, DoCraft, Magnolia Heart Tag., Spellbnders Shapabilities.

I have used foam tape and 1/2" Scor-Tape to put my project together. I have used Papermania Urban Stamps on the Heart Tag.

The first thing I have done is paint my wooden cigar box with white acrylic paint. Then I have added the paper using the very strong 1/2" Scor-Tape

I have then inked the edges and used my sanding block to make it look old like it should instead of re-done.

The background stamp is something I had here and thought it would go perfect with her but do not have the company name or the name of the stamp. If you know please let me know so that I can give credit where credit is due. The circle sentiment image is by Cats Press.

I have colored my image's with my copic markers. I have also added stickles to her shirt and bow.

Paper: Basic Grey Olivia, MME and Bazzill cardstocks.

Tools: Sewing Machine

Embellies: Paper flowers, 4 different kinds of trim layered, ribbon and brads.
