ALTER IT for Elisabeth Bell World Challenge blog...

Hello everyone!!!

Today we have a new monthy challenge at
Elisabeth Bell World Challenge blog
this month the challenge is..

ALTER IT..

anything you would like to alter with a love theme in mind.

Now this one is an easy one as I know you are all working on fun little Valentines gifts and cards.

Please dig out one of your Elisabeth Bell images and join us in the fun...

I have found a wooden frame a the local craft store and put pretty papers from 7 Gypsy, Graphic 45, Creative Imaginations.

I have used a very cute little image called MATTHEW WITH PRESENT found at the Whiff of Joy by Elisabeth Bell. He is the cutest little angel!!! I have colored him with copic markers and watercolor pencils. I have used beautiful trim, bakers twine, feathers, , ribbon, flowers, Tim Holtz key and locket, some little brass rings and brass photo corners and a brass butterfly. The LOVE U letters I have painted with black paint and added white dots and stripes.

Everything on my project has been inked very heavy and sanded back off. All of the edges are heavy with ink and sanding. To give it an OLD WORN OUT rustic look.

It really is very pretty in real life but in the photos it is not so great. I just hate it when that happens!!!!!

Creative Inspirations DT card and tag set...

It's Wednesday again already and I have my Design Team creation for Creative Inspirations Challenge. This week the challenge is for a Christmas card and tag set. I did have a lot of fun with this one. I have use 2 of the cute little Santa's from the WOJ. I have used a sentiment by Plum Purdy Designs.

I was shopping one day a seen this very cute little gift box for Chocolate Chips cookies and thought now wouldn't that be cute to make a little tag and give for a gift!! So here it is and Card and tag.

EmBellies: ribbons, trim,heart charm, trim, covered buttons, pine cones, pine leaves, red cran balls
Special effects: This card has been sewn. I have used Stickles to give it a tad bit of sparkle. I have also used my Martha Stewart punch for the edging

I have made a Birthday card and bag with my stamp that was sent to me. It's that cute little raccoon. I had the hardest time coloring him the way I wanted. He still is not what I wanted but I had to be done. LOL...... I have used him on the card alone, but on the bag I also used on of the older party animals. Masked the raccoon just behind Henry the mouse with his cute cupcake. :o) I added 3 balloons to the raccoons hands so he would have balloons and a present for the party! I have also done the cute little mouse peeking from under the party hat and stuck it in the top of a cupcake. YUMMY FUN!!

Whiff of Joy.......Thinking of you............

Good morning,

I got up very early this morning on a Saturday. I would love to be able to sleep in!!! Four thirty this morning was way to early!!! .....but I did get a card done.

I have used a Whiff of Joy image that I received from a blogging friend. Hi Nat *waving*. Thank you sweetie!! I will be posting this for the Whiff of Joy Challenge. The challenge is for Stitching this week and I have stitched the card on the front only this time. I also will be posting at Creative Inspirations as they have a challenge for piercing and I did pierce around the image and the inside of the card.

I am hoping that I will be able to get over to IKEA this weekend and get a few fun things for storage for this room. :o) I want to change the whole room around and use the whole room now that I have removed the bed from the other side. :o)

A WHOLE ROOM ....... Gosh I will have things in a bigger mess than normal...

LOL..

Took this photo so that you could the crumpling I did on the edges of the paper. I just love this little image. Look at the beautiful wings. I did put stickles on them to make them sparkle.
