Box Christmas Ornament

I have my DT card for
Magnolia Down Under

This weeks challenge is..
Make a Christmas Ornament or Decoration

I have altered a card box for my Christmas decoration.
I have lots of photos today so you can see it up close and personal!!

All of my images have been colored with my copic markers
embellies: glitter, stickles, gold wire ribbon, trim, jingle bells, snowflakes and snowflake buttons, rusty star, snow tex and metallic garland.

Above is a side view so that you can see that the house image is inside of the box. If you look close you will see that I have used my sanding tool and roughed up all of the edges of the box and then used a tad bit of Ranger distressed inks on them.

I LOVE this house image that I found in blogland. It is done by Beccy Muir. I am always looking for fun background images to go with my Tilda's. I think this one is perfect for my ornament!! It is so country Christmas looking. Just my style!!! Thanks You Beccy for sharing your image!!!

I have colored the image with copic markers and added Snow Tex with Stickles to give it that 3D just snowed look.

I have used one of the trees from #568 WINTER FOREST and #3090 TILDA WITH SNOWHEART both from Magnolia-licious.

Magnolia-licious has the largest selection of regular size Maggies and the home of the Mini Magnolia Stamps. Do you love those mini stamps!?!?!?! Well let me tell you......... Magnolia-licious has 2 pack specials going on right now!! You can get 2 Mini Magnolia Stamps for $8.99! That's a $4.99 savings!
Check out the amazing 2 Mini Special at Magnolia-licious!!

Just a remind that a big challenge and CONTEST is going on over at the Magnolia Highlites Blog!!

At the top of my box I have used #3081 TILDA WITH HANGING HEART. I have her hanging down over my opening just a tad.
She is also available at Magnolia-licious.

Extras used for techniques: acrylic paint, snow tex, distress inks for edges, sanding block, stickles

This reminds me of an oil painting my Mom did of an old barn...such detail went into your beautiful ornament, from the peek a boo tinsel peeking out to the shabby flannel papered sides. Your coloring is impeccable and your snow is the icing on the cake! Thanks for playing along this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments!
