This week the challenge is # 64 - BABIES

Our prize this week is sponsored by:

If you pop over to the blog you can get all of the details..

Today I have done things just a tad different. Instead of making my normal size card. I have made a gift bag tag card with a gift bag. I was surfing the web last week and ran into this tutorial to use the round spellbinder nestie to make a baby carriage. I found it on Niki Estes blog. If you click on her name it will take straight there.

Now isn't that cute???
It was very fun and easy to do. Her tutorial is very easy to follow. I have added my own touches to her original instructions. I have used a very cute Precious Moments baby image.
I have also used buttons on my wheels and I have added a few extra pieces for the shade header with some lace and a bow with prima flowers.I have altered a gift bag with papers to match the card, Prima Flowers, ribbon and a cute little rattle.
I will put a string on the card and hang it from the bag when I need to use the bag.
I think it is very fun and a very cute idea.
If you are lurking around Niki thanks for the inspiration and use of your tutorial.

Card/bag Ingredients
Papers: bazill cardstocks, Pebbes Inc, DCWV, Reminisce
Stamps: Precious Moments baby
Ink: Copic markers, watercolor pencils, distressed ink for edges
EmBellies: brad, Prima Flowers, rattle clay charm, ribbon, buttons, shaped buttons
Tools: Round nesties,

Spellbinders can be purchased at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More

This weeks prize is from Di's Digital Delights. You can visit the blog to get all of the details.

I hope you will dig out your fairy stamps and enjoy us this week. Make sure to stop by and see all of the wonderful artwork by the DT..
I am not so thrilled with the way this card turned out. I love the colors but I had such high hopes for these two stamps and it just didn't happen the way I wanted.

I did get both of these stamps at the STAMP SHOW in Ohio at the end of last month. Just getting around to using them. The fairy is from Stamp Oasis and the Thinking of You is from Outlines Rubber Stamp Company. I have colored the images with my watercolor pencils and copic markers. I have added stickles to parts of both images for that little bit of sparkle. I have used papers from Pink Paislee, UPSYDAISY DESIGNS, and Creative Imaginations will bazzill cardstock. I have used distressted ink on all of the edges added a few pearls a bit of pretty ribbon a tack and a photo brass photo holder. This card has been sewn. The flowers that you see popped are hand cut out of the paper and I added a bit of stickles to them.Pile It On has Cute & Cuddly up for Challenge #18 so I will list this over ther this week.
Oh I almost forgot... Sorry that my blog is a bit of a mess.. I am under going a little bit of construction right now. I hope to have it all done very soon.
I am still working on my son's new place so my time is still limited but I will be back on Saturday with 2 yes I said 2 posts at different times. I hope you will stop back by to see what I have done for 2 different Guest DT's.

Creative Inspirations CHALLENGE 55 DT card

I am back today with my project for Creative Inspirations CHALLENGE 55.
The challenge this week is for and Altered CD.
The designs team has done a wonderful job with thier cards. I hope you will stop by and have a look at thier projects and leave them some love.

I have not only altered a CD but I did a box purse for it to go on.
As you can see I covered a little box with papers and I attached the CD to the front. I put magnets on the top of the CD so that it would stay closed.
On the front of the CD. I have a very very pretty Tilda in her wedding gown from the new Wedding Clollection. I have put tons of flowers and pearls around the edge of the CD with a few heart stuick pins and a BEAUTIFUL pewter heart. I have put stickles all over the flowers and the edge of the CD. Also a few on the image.

Now if we drop the CD down you can see that I have a verse on the inside.
I found this verse on the internet. I thought that is was beautiful and fit this little box very well.

Now if I let the CD come clear down you can see that the back of it has room to write your special little message.

Next you can drop the front of the box purse and put something special in it for that special bride!!

I have used lots of distressed ink and done lots of sanding on all of the edges of this little box. To give it that old and worn look. I really do love how this has turned out.

I hope this will inspire you to come and join us this week at
A few Challenges this was made to fit...
Rosie-D's Challenge Blessings
Project Tuesday card purse
Roses on Paper Layers
Practical Scrappers: bling/glitter
Don't figure to get your Magnolia stamps they can be bought at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More

THANKS for stopping by today!!
Thank you to all of you the stop and leave me your comments they really do make my day

Today I have chosen to used some SWEET images!!! You see this is a birthday card for my son's special girl's birthday and she is such a sweetheart!! She LOVES sweets!! LOL.. She fits so perfect into our family!! She is just a sweetheart!! So this is a perfect card for her.
She loves pinks and browns too. I hope she likes this SWEET little card!!

I have used 3 different stamps to create this sweet card.
First the tray of goodies is a Stampendous the very cute little cupcake that is popped at the bottom is a yummy little stamp from Skogstokiga Rubberstamping. And the sentiment is a favorite of mine. It is from Impression Obsession Inc. Such a sweet little saying. On the inside of this card I have colored up one of my favorite Tilda's by Magnolia. I have used my Nesties to cut her out. I have used computer fonts for the HB and her name. And there is that very cute little yummy cupcake again! Now lets go back to the front of my card. As you can see I have added a ruffled eyelet lace with a beautiful brown and cream checked ribbon on top of it. I have added pearls in brown at the corners of the card and pink one on the corners of the image. If you look close you will see that in the flower arrangement I have added 2 heart stick pins.

If you look close at the paper that the main image is stamped on you will see that I have put white acrylic paint dots for some texture. I also have added stickles to the strawberries, cherries and the cute little pink cake on the middle tray. This card has been colored with my copic markers and watercolor pencils. I have used distressed inks on the edges and this card like all of my card has been sewn.

I hope you will find time to stop by the blog and see all of the stunning cards done by the other Designs Team members. I hope that you will find a few minutes to make a card and join us.
It is my hubby's birthday today also and I didn't get a card made for him. I struggle with men cards. So I went and bought him a playstation WII. I will think that he would not miss a card from me when he gets this little toy. hee hee.. Or lets hope not anyway. Cross your fingers for me. PLEASE.
Have a great rest of your week.

Creative Inspirations DT card in Sepia....

It's Wednesday and I am here with the Creative Inspirations Dt card. This week the challenge is for SEPIA and I have to tell you that this is my first. The prize this week is by the Handy Hippo.Okay, now for all of the details of my card. First I have used a mix of papers and a bit of old trim. I have distressed all of the edges with ink and my file. I also used my Autumn Leaves swirly hearts stamps and stamped along the edges in a few places with my walnut distressed ink. Then on the hearts I have used my stickles to give it just a tad bit of sparkle. I have added Tim Holtz snaps and metal corner and a key that is hanging from the sheer dot ribbon. I have used flowers, pearls, metal beads, feathers to complete the spray the my cute little Tidla is hiding behind. I have used my oval nestie and have her double popped. I have used a piece of packing kraft paper for the scollop nestie behind her. She has been coloured with both my copic markers and my watercolor pencils. I have added a bit of stickles to her headband.
here you can see a little closer view.
This image can be purchased at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More. Michelle carries the line of Magnolias along with lots of other stamps. Go check her out. She has great service and is a real sweetie!!
Here is a close up of the Tim Holtz metal corner and snap. Along with some of the flowers, feathers and metal beads. Here you can also see the worn look of the sewing. I love this old looking stitch.
Thank you for stopping by today!!
I hope you have a wonderful day in whatever you are doing.

I also hope that you will hop on over to the blog and join the challenge this week.
Hugs, Janiel
