ENJOY wooden word letters

Good afternoon everyone!!!
I have my Magnolia Down Under project to show you today.
I am very excited to show you wat I have been working on!
The challenge this week is to make a
Christmas gift

The girl's over at the challenge blog have made some wonderful gifts!! I hope you will be able to stop by and have a look.
This week the challenge is an easy one as I am sure most of you have made some fun cute creative Magnolia gifts that you can share with us!!
Hope you will join us!
My project was a fun one..... I was somewhere Christmas shopping and ran into this little wooden word ENJOY.. It was just painted green I think and not so cute at all but boy oh boy could I just see my fun cute little Tilda and designer papers on this to dress it up!!!!!! LOL....
I guess you know when you are a die hard crafter when your out shopping and see things that can be altered into something with your cute little stamps and pretty papers!!! HAHAHAHA
I have painted the whole free standing wooden piece with black acrylic paint then I took my papers from my scrap bag and went to work!!
First I have the letter "E" with one of my favorite Tilda's.

I have used Standing Fall Tilda #282 along with some old sweetwater papers, Prima roses, trim, black rhinestones, Prima butterfly and a button. She is out of stock right now but is on reorder and should be in soon. So hold on to that number for ordering.
Each one of the letters have paper on the front surface and then a different paper on the outer edge then I have sanded then, inked them and then sanded them again. This is a very very rustic project. I have made it to look very old and worn out with tons of diststressed inks on the edges of each letter.

Next is the letter "N"

I have that very sweet little HEART BREAKER EDWIN #152 peeking from around the back of the letter. I have used trim, perals and Prima flowers.

Next is the letter "J"
No for this one I had to handcut the "J" and put it on the wooden box. On it to start with it was just a painted "J". I have popped the letter with foam dots and used on green rhinestones, trim, cotton lace, Prima flowers, bakers twine and I have used my McGill punch for the leaves.

Now just how cute is RUFUS THE DOG #402!!!
He is sitting in between the "J" and the "O".

On this letter you are able to see the other paper on the inside and around it if you look close.
I have added perals and a Prima Butterfly.

Then last we have the letter "Y"
I have used the very cute Secret Tilda #3060
I have used trim, black checked ribbon and black rhinestones along with some Prima FLowers to dress this letter up some.

All of the Magnolia stamps can be bought from Magnolia-Licious. I have used my copic markers and or my water color pencils to color these little cuties.

A few challenges that I would like to enter:

Allsorts: Anything goes

Totally Gorjuss: for someone special

Crafty Catz: Your Choice of past Challenge. I have picked Challenge #53 Magnolia/Tilda Week

Everybody Art Challenge: Self made present

Well that about does it for today..........

Thanks for stopping by by today!!
I would love to hear your comments on my project if you have a minute.

I will be posting on Monday with a new snowglobe for the EB Digi Bell's blog.
Hope to see you then.

I am out trying to get some of my Christmas shopping done.
LOL...... I don't think that will ever be done in time this year!

BIG HUGS, Janiel

OMG! This is TO DIE FOR, PQ! How on earth do you manage to cut out the papers for the letters so beautifully? Presumably they were stuck to the base which would make it kind of hard to draw around them. Every letter has the perfect paper and the perfect little magnolia and I love all your extra bits. You're going to need to find somewhere in your beautiful home to display this year after year and I'm sure it will become a family favourite like some of your previous makes. Just lovely! Hugs, Lesley
