HOWDY with Lucky Edwin

I have my DT project for
to share with you today.

 The challenge this week is:
going green baby..
RECYCLE SOMETHING.

Oh boy now I have tell you that I had a blast with this!! I have a drawer of odds and ends things that I just don't get into enough!!
I have wanted to ink up this little cute Lucky Edwin for my son's birthday card since I seen it coming out!! GOSH I LOVE HIM!!! But if you will notice I have masked the ciggy from his mouth.

Okay so now what did I REUSE or RECYCLE??
Well, the fabric bow you see is cut from an old country table cloth,
Button from an old shirt placed on the rusty star, 2 pocket studs from pair of Levis jeans bottom right of card, corrugated paper and raffia from a candle wrapping.

Like I said I had much fun doing this card than any other for a very long time. I have to tell you I normally hate to do boy/male type cards!! LOL.. But this one just came together very easy for me. I have ripped, torn, heat embossed, inked, paper pieced/paper toled, painted items to get this FUN FUN rustic card! Now I will tell ya that it is a heavy card. It has tons of heavy metal pieces on it!! Great for a man/boy!!!

Okay I have talked and talked today. So now I will just let you look at the photos. LOL... I hope you will take a minute and leave me a comment. I would love to hear your thoughts. Please don't forget to hop over to the challenge blog and see what my very creative DT sisters have made!! All of the projects are very creative!!!

I think you have sold me on this stamp. I thought he was so cute, but I wasn't a fan of his cigar. I never thought about masking it. Would you share how you did that part?

Thanks so so so much
