HAPPY VALENTINES...with Charming Edwin!!

 HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!
I hope that you all will find lots of extra little sparkles of love in your day!!
I love Valentine's Day!! It a good reason to make my famous big frosted sugar cookies. They are my favorite but not so good on the waist line if you know what I mean. (giggle giggle) I think we will try to go out to dinner tonight but just not so sure if I want to fight the long lines and wait for over an hour to be served. So we shall see.
I have made a fun Valentines card for today using Charming Edwin and my Heart Doohickey tag from Magnolia-licious.
The card truly looks so much better in person than the photos here on the web today. I have used rich Reds, off whites and black papers from Authentique and MME 6x6 paper pads.

Supplies used:
Stamps: #107 Charming Edwin colored with Copic Markers
Cardstock: Red, White, Black
Ink Pads: Antique Linen, Broken China, Walnut Stain (Distress Inks by Ranger) I have also used liquid pearl for the dots around my image.
Trims: Red velvet/off white trim, off white seam binding
Misc clutter: paper flowers, acrylic hearts, cheese cloth, rhinestones, Lock and Key by Prima, black and white pearls, Heart and Key charms Vintage Trinket by Prima. Sentiment has been cut from one of the papers and popped up with foam dots.
Dies: DooHickey Heart by Magnolia, Spellbinders Large Scalloped Round, MS Butterfly punches.
Sewing machine
Foam dots, Stickles, Glitter, Crystal Lacquer, Liquid pearl

In this photo you can see that I have added stickles and glitter to the MS butterflies. Also I have added some to make the heart look sugar coated.
I have added Crystal Lacquer to the roses and leaves. I love the 3-d look and the shine but you can't see all of the depth in the coloring. (note to self about that happening)  Can you see the Liquid pearl dots around the roses?

Magnolia products used on my project today.

Hi Janiel,
Fabulous color combo, very fresh and crisp. I think this is one of my favorite Edwins, he can bring me flowers anytime. I just want to squeeze his little red cheeks.
Lovely work!
