MADE WITH LOVE.. Magnolia-licious January Blog Hop.

Hello Everyone.. and welcome to the
Magnolia-licious January Blog hop!!

If not you can click
HERE it will take you to the
which is the start of the hop today.
You won't want to miss any of the great inspiration from the Design Team!
Today's hop is...
Love theme: anything but a card

As you can see I decided to make a apron. It was made with love for someone to Bake and cook with love!!

I was in the local scrap/fabric store and ran into the pattern for this very cute little rag apron. I just knew that I had to make one. So with a special someone in mind from the start to the finish. I set out to find just the right combo of fabrics to go with a few cute little Magnolia images.  Now mind you trying to follow the pattern was not going well at all. Not a well written pattern. So I kinda winged it for the most part. But I do think that it turned out very cute!!

I thought this apron could be used in the kitchen...cooking and baking with love or in the craft room creating with love.

On the right side of apron I have used Burger Tilda. I have added 2 buttons on the left of her and a heart shaped button at the top.

In The next photo the left side of the apron I have used Tilda with Love Cake from the new LOVE Collection 2013.I also added a pink safety pin and button to this side. I have sewn green buttons just below her on the green fabric. Fun white button have been added to the top of apron by the neck strap.
The fabric that I stamped my images on was very thin and not so great for my copic markers that I used. But I decided that with the apron being so raggedy/shabby the images really need to be colored a bit raw looking and rough. They turned out perfect for the shabby style of the apron!
Now remember that both of these image and all things Magnolia can be bought at Magnolia-licious.
