Happy Holidays.......with Nativity by Magnoila

I have my DT project for
to share with you today.

The challenge this week is
CHRISTMAS

Well, speaking of Christmas. Are you ready for the big day? We are not ready here at our house just yet. Presents to still buy. Food to still shop for and handmade candies and treats to make.  Not really sure that all of that is going to get done this year. There comes a time in our lives that all of the hustle and bustle is just not what is important.  Spending time together and enjoying the company of the ones you love is the most important. You just never now when the rug will be jerk from under your feet and it will all be gone in a flash. So we are going to enjoy the time that we have doing what we truly enjoy. Celebrating each other and the time we have together.  That  is what it is going to be about at our house this year. We are counting the many blessing that we have.

Wishing you all many blessings this season and all year through.

Now let's get onto my card for today!!

I have used 4 of those little cute Nativity stamps.
Stamps: I have masked TIida as Wiseman, Tilda with Holy Baby, Holy EdwinHoly Tilda with Lamb all together. Now that was a big job and then the coloring was a ton!! But I really love the way the scene turn out. So pretty in real life.
Stamps can be bought at Magnolia-licious
 PROUD DESIGNER FOR: MAGNOLIA-licious

Coloring Medium: Copic Markers, very light distressed inks around some of the paper edges an I have added Platinum Stickles on the edge of the papers the images are layered on.

Papers: MME Santa Claus and Bazzill cardstocks

Accessories: satin ribbon, Magnolia tag doohickey, Magnolia swirl doohickey, pearls, metal jingle bell, star that I have painted over with acrylic paint, wooden button, felt circle, brown yarn thread, velvet lace trim, doily, tulle.

Doohickey Die can be found HERE at Magnolia-licious.

I have used the extra strong Scor-tape to put my card together also can be found at Magnolia-lious. HERE

What a lovely Christmas family Janiel. Love it.

I know what you mean about trying to do so many things. Sometimes enough is enough and we need to stop trying to do too much. I've got all my cards posted and some to hand out at my WRI Christams meal tomorrow and some to hand out at work. Not sure I've got all my presents yet. Maybe some little stocking fillers to buy. And don't even mention food! But I'll get there I'm sure.

Take care,

Kat xx

A lovely card Janiel. Enjoy the holiday with family. The hustle and bustle can get to be too much and expectations are so high for most due to all the commercialism. Sit back and enjoy and have a relaxing holiday season.

Absolutely gorgeous card. Love the image. You are so right about sometimes it's being with family and not all the food and gifts. I am also way behind. Thank you for taking a break and sharing with us at NMWC. Hugs, Velma

Janiel!! What a masterpiece..and I honestly love the colors you chose!!

Secondly...I completely agree with you about spending time with loved ones and enjoying their company...not stressing out about the baking..and all the little ways we drive ourselves crazy. We are having everyone over for brunch and dinner..., but I'm keeping it very low key! I hope you have a fabulous, winderful time enjoying ever single moment you can with your loved ones! :)
