Back in July 2011 I won a Challenge over at the REALLY REASONABLE RIBBON CHALLENGE BLOG and Bonnie the owner ask me if I would do a guest posting on the blog. Well, I can't even tell you just how excited I was as I LOVE LOVE LOVE to used ribbons on ALL of my cards!! I have a card and a project to share with you today. First up is the card..
Now just how cute is that little image?!?!?! It is called: BEST HUGS and it is new out today at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More for the Pixie Cottage by Alisa. I have colored my image with my copic markers and added some Prima Flowers both also available at Michelle's. Now lets talk about that beautiful ribbons and jute used... They are all from Really Reasonable Ribbons and my card is packed with fun ribbons and jute! I LOVE RIBBONS!!!
I have used:
1.5 Jute Ribbon Natural
Ivory Wrinkled Ribbon
String Dark Brown
Moss Green Micro Gingham
Papers used: MME, Webster's Pages, Card Core Cardstock and Bazzill Cardstocks
Embellies: pearls, butterfly, flower and ladybug all by Dress It Up buttons, De-fined by Making Memories
I have used my distressed inks on all edges of each layer and paper pierced around the image. I have sewn my card and the image and the Cherish tag have been popped.

I have altered a little box to hold a card to house a gift card inside of it.

I hope you will pop over there to have a peek!!I have used another NEW and fun image from Michelle's Scrapbooking and More for the Pixie Cottage by Alisa. It is called:I LUV MY BLANKIE. Isn't it just ADORABLE!!!!!! I have colored my image with my copic markers and used my Spellbinders Circles for around my image I have also used a Cherry Lynn Die in the paper flowers. All of these items are available at Michelle's. Of course all of the Ribbons are from REALLY REASONABLE RIBBONS.

Hi Janiel, both the card & the box are stunning creations. The fur is amazing! It is difficult to pick a fav of the two, but think the cuddling bears of 'Best Hugs' probably has the edge. Almost 'strokable' - brilliant.

Hi Janiel, thankyou for your lovely comment on my blog. OMGoodness these are absolutely amazing! Your colouring makes them so real and lifelike! I had to look real closely to check they really did not have fur! lol Gosh they really are stunning! Two really lovely images - Mmmm if I had to choose I think i would choose the second one but it would be a hard decision! I don;t think I can be included in the candy but no worries. I don't have access to a computer next week so would not be able to contact you til a week Monday at the earliest providing things go to plan. Good luck to everyone else though.
