CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Happy Monday Everyone!!
Boy oh boy I can't believe that summer is just breezin' by!! This month will be gone in the blink of an eye. I hope that you have had a full filled fun summer so far. We didn't take a vacation or anything this summer. Sad but true. To much illness in our family this year. SO maybe we can take 2 next year.. LOL.......School in our area starts tomorrow!! So summer is over for our children. We are still having over 100 degree days. And that is just to hot to go to school.
When does school start in your area?

Today I have my Elisabeth Bell World Challenge card to share with you..
The challenge for this month is.....
CHRISTMAS IN JULY.

Dig out your Elisabeth Bell stamps and Christmas papers to join us!!
You can check out the Challenge blog for all of the details and the prizes this month!

I really went to digging in one of my stamp drawers to find this little cute stamp!
It is an oldies but a goody! I did get this one at WOJ but I do NOT see it on the site right now. I am not sure what stamp the sentiment is. But I am thinking that it is a CC Designs.
I just love the saying. It goes so perfect with that little cutie stirring up his batch of cookie dough!!
I have colored my image with my copic markers and added stickles to the fur of his hat and to the cute little green mittens.
Papers today are all from my little scrap bag. So not really sure just what they are.
embellies: trim, ribbon, bakers thread, heart brads that I painted white dots on, glass beads and heart, star and heart stick pins, paper flowers, resin cookie.
Now I thought to myself.... It would be fun to bake some cookies to go with this card during the holidays.
Challenges I have made this card for:
Oldie But A Goodie: Ribbon and Lace

Craft Us Crazy: anything goes
Stamp Something: Embellish it
2 Sisters: anything goes

Hi Janiel!
Wow, this is adorable! So much detail and it's all pulled together so nicely. It reminds me that I need to get started on Christmas cards!
Glad you could join us for Elphine House Australia's first challenge. Your blog is filled with so many beautiful creations!

I live in So. California, it's pretty hot here too, but not quite as hot as it is there. My boys are in year round school...they only had 2 weeks off between changing grades, very strange still for me. They have August off and quess where we go for vacation...Phoenix! LOL, everyone thinks we're crazy, but we love just hanging at the pool and on the lazy river and for some reason it's not busy! :-)

Janny, oh my this little Santa is so sweet, you are so creative, the strawberries & all your gorgeous papers & embellies are so perfect. Your colouring is wonderful & just looking at your beautiful card makes crave strawberries & cookies. Sorry to hear it has been so hot, but I wish it was summer here, our winter has been so cold. Have a great week, hugs Jodie from Oz xx

How could this cute Santa stamp have been left hidden from view - it is such an adorable image, coloured to perfection! I love your layout, PQ, how Santa is overlapping the sentiment panel and what a perfect sentiment it is. Gorgeous embellishment with lots of attention to detail. Lovely papers and fab staging! What a treat! Giant hugs to you girlfriend! IMTAP! Lesley
