I hope my post today finds you well and enjoying your day!
I have a card for a very special little girl that needs a little smile sent to her.
A very special friend of mine (Michelle) has ask me if I could help her spread the word that a
CHILD is in NEED
of a few smiles.
Can you take time out of your day and make a card to send to someone that needs to be uplifted?
Haeli is this little girl's name and she is a 6th grader( 12 years old) in Canton Ohio. Haeli is dealing with a very serious disease that is very hard for an adult to deal with so for a child I can't even begin to understand.She has a very rare form of ovarian cancer. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

You know when things like this touch in our lives it makes us stop and think of just how blessed that we really are in our own lives and or helps us cope with our own lives better.

I have used the sketch from THE SUGAR BOWL
and used one of the new digis called CONNIE avaible at FUNKY KITS.
papers used are MME, Three Bugs in a Rug, Jillibean
embellies: rhinestones, paper flowers, dotted swiss ribbon
I have sewn my card and inked all edges with Ranger distressed inks.
My image has been colored with my copic markers.copic markers and Ranger distressed inks can be bought at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More for one of the best prices on the web.

Janiel this card is absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure will put a smile on this little girls face. I can't imagine what she must be going through or what her parents must be going through. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! As I really don't have a card collection, I sent Haeli a box of art supplies and a journal today. It looks like Michelle is getting a good response. This story breaks my heart.
