Wedding Cake

Happy Tuesday everyone...
Today I came to share the paper wedding cake that I made as a gift for the Bride and Groom to keep special things in from the wedding.
As you can see it is a double layer. I have used a Precious Moments image at the top. You will see in the pictures below that I have done this image on both sides of the standing heart. But I flipped it so that it could stand back to back.

The wedding is a very very special friend of our family and it was last month at Ceasars Place in Vegas. Just thought that I would post this not so great photo so you could see that her colors were orange/black so that is why I have used a bit of orange flowers on the cake.
The orange flowers on the cake are from Michelle's Scrapbooking and more. You can find them HERE and HERE.

The groom is in the middle and on both side are my sons. These 3 couldn't be separated all through jr high and high school and really they are still that way. The best of buds. What a HAPPY DAY!!!!

The beautiful paper butterflies that you see in the photo above can be bought HERE from Michelle's scrapbooking and More.
In the photo above you can see that I am turning the cake so that you can see the details.

I have used a string of pearls from my stash on both layers of the box/cake. The tulle that is used was bought at Michelle's Scrapbboking and More but I do think that she is out of the off white right now. I see that she still has a few other colors in stock HERE.

This is the back of the cake. The top layer is a heart shape but doesn't open.

A close up of some of the details..

That is a TIm Holtz fragment charm tag that I have put the date on.

I have used some beautiful dollies that I found somewhere while I was out and about. But not sure where.
Papers: SEI, Bazzill, Anna Griffin

Image: Precious Moments colored with copic markers you can purchase HERE.

Embellies: to many to name all of them.. That is way I have tons of photos. LOL.....

The bottom layer is a small hat box.

And yes it does open!!!!! Have a look...

THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY TODAY!!!

I would love to hear just what your thoughts are about my paper wedding cake.Photobucket
