Elisabeth Bell **Pat-A-Cake Digi**

Good morning my wonderful blogging friends!!
Today I have an image to show you that touched my heart. This card is my Digi Bell's post for the Digi Blog. Don't forget to stop by there each day to see the new post from the DT/GDT.
It will be my sons birthday on the 24th of this month and need to make him a card so I started to look through my images to see just what I could come up with.
Well, I was stopped dead in my tracks as I looked at this very BEAUTIFUL image by Elisabeth Bell.
Gosh, Do I remember the days that I sat and played with my son just like this. Where do those days go? As I colored this image I had a ton of wonderful memories come flooding back and a tad bit of wet on my cheeks. Now don't get me wrong here.. I am so proud of the man that he has become but gosh I miss the little boyand the years that have gone passed. Do you understand that??
Okay Okay.......on to the card that I will not be giving to my son for this birthday ..
It is to pink and to many flowers!!!!!!!!!! LOL.

I have used all of the same line of paper for this card!! For those of you the visit often know that I don't do that but in a blue moon. I LOVE these papers!! They are by BoBunny and called Olivia Ambrosia. I have added a few Prima Flowers that can be purchased at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More. She has great prices!! I also have added a little heart charm by MM that I found in my stash. A few spirl brads, regular brads and perals. I have used my McGill punches for the leaves. All of the edges have been inked with Ranger distressed
ink. This very special image called PAT-A-CAKE by Elisabeth Bell has been colored with my copic markers and watercolor pencils. I have sewn the layers of the card with my sewing machine.

It's gorgeous Janiel, I love that image. I know what you mean about time and your children. My son will be 34 on the 28th and he was like this not so long ago. Now in this image I can see my daughter and her son. He is only 11 months old at the moment but they have a very special bond.
