When I got my new Magnolia stamps from Magnolia-lious I knew that I have to make a Pirate ship for these little cuties!! SO the challenge today called for a shaped card and I made my ship for them.
What a project it was!! LOL.....
I have done a ton of paper piecing for this. I LOVE TO PAPER PIECE and I mean TRUE paper piecing!
First of all I drew a rough sketch of a ship and palm tree. Then I got out the card stocks that I wanted to use and started to cut away. The ship it's self has a 31 of pieces!! I have used my chalks to do the shading on both the ship and the tree. I have used my copic multi liner to make the little lines to make the ship look like wood. All of the fine detail lines also have been done with the liner. . I swear that sometime I think it almost takes a degree in engineering to put these things together. LOL........ The palm tree has 12 pieces to complete it.
I have used some fun waves from a K&Comapny Adhesive Borders package and the anchor is from a Jolee's embellie package. I have colored my Pirate Tilda, Captain Edwin and the barrel with my copic markers and watercolor pencils.
