Creative Inspirations DT

Hello my blogging friends,
Today is Wednesday again already and I have my Design Team creation for Creative Inspirations Challenge to show you. This week the challenge is Anniversary cards. I have used a mixture of papers like normal for me and tons of little detail things from my stash. Let me see if I can name all of them for you. Down in the left hand corner I have a sheet of music rolled up with sheer ribbon tied around it, gold heart locket, brass clock, prima flowers, little *with Love* tag and a few pine leaves punched out of my McGill punch. On that very cute little H&S image I have a few pearls, brass photo corner and shipping tag tucked under the right side and a beautiful sheer ribbon top left. If you will look close you will see that I have a small doillie laying back behind the whole image. I have colored this little cutie with my copic pens and watercolor pencils. On the glass I have added some Crystal Lacquer to make it look almost real. But it doesn't show in the pictures. Okay lets look up in the upper right corner and as you can see I have a beautiful lock and key hanging from some Prima Flowers and Roses. I have also wrapped the card in sheer ribbon with a strip of checked ribbon and added 3 pearls in the bottom right corner. I have sewn the card and everything has distressed ink on the edges.
WOW now that was a mouth full!!!
Do you think this is a manly enough card or do you think it is to foo foo???

I want to say a big welcome to Stephanne. She has just joined our team at Creative Inspirations and I tell you if you have not seen her blog then you are in for a treat. She will be a big inspiration to us all. I love to go and check out her art on her blog. She has beautiful pieces of art to share!! Stop on by and say hello to her. If you get a few minutes stop by the other DT members blog and leave them so love..

I am going back to bed now as I have been sick with the flu and I just can't shake it. I went to work on Monday and came home sicker. So I didn't work today and I will be staying home tomorrow as I have a fever now again. My whole body aches. I hope you are all better than I am right now. I also hope you don't get this as it is NOT fun!

I hope you will be able to join us this week for the challenge.

I hope to be stopping by all of the blogs that do play along this week to see your cards.

Hugs to all,
Janiel

Thanks for stopping by today.

It's always appreciated!

Stunning card. Beautiful papers and amazing details. You can make a fabby card like this when you are feeling really unwell much better than I can make one when I am absolutely fine! Hope you can rest and feel better soon.

Hi Janny,
Thank you for the warm welcome over at Creative Inspirations!! This makes my Janny-Stalking so much easier!! Just kidding just kidding!!

Your card is wonderful, I love how you've used so many gorgeous things but yet, somehow, it isn't too foofoo!! Nope, not foofoo I say!! The colurs and patterns you've chosen come off as elegant, not foofoo, lol. Gorgeous work and a wonderful inspiration!!

I hope you are feeling better soon, hopefully you'll get some rest while home from work ;)
Take Care,
Stephanne

Your card is simply amazing. I got sensory overload reading your list of every special detail you have included here. Pretty impressive work now that I read how sick you are!! Sending all good wishes your way for a speedy recovery.

I am so flattered and wanted to make sure you got the email I sent to the blog's address that I am accepting.
