Creative Inspirations DT card

It's Wednesday again already and time for the challenge over at
The challenge this week is **FEMININE**
Now just how easy is that?
This week the DT were provided with images to bring to life with from our sponsor, Lauretta of Lauretta's Digital Stamps, thank you so much Lautetta!! The image that I have used is called French Lady.
This has truly been a challenge for me as I don't do real type images. I have a very hard time with them as Cutie images are more for my style. But I do think that the coming out of my little box had a very good turn out with this card. When I seen this image it just looked like romantic French Countryto me . So that is where I started. I have used different papers from many different lines a long with Distressed inks on all of the edges. I also have torn and sanded the edges for that worn look. I have used snaps, pearls, a locket, feathers, stick pin, Tim Holtz ticket, spacers, photo corner, music sheet, flowers, trim and some ribbon. I could have missed a few things as this card is loaded! I have used my looped nestie just under the imag and a heart doilie around the image then distressed it. I put Crackle Accent over it. I think you can see it if you look close at the photo. I have colored my image with my Copic markers and I don't know if any of you have put the Crackle Accent on it before but it changed the colors of the image for me. My image was darker. It seemed to fade the colors. Has this ever happened to you?

Thank you for stopping by to have a look.

I hope you will find time to join us as this is an easy challenge this week.

JUST SHOW US YOUR FEMININE SIDE. Have a great day!!
hugs, Janiel

Great job Janny! I love what you did with this image. It was tough for me too and I almost went with Country French blue too, but I can't seem to get out of the pink thing I've got goin' lately - LOL. Great job with the crackle paint.
