Colour Create Challenge....Blue, White and Silver

Hello all my blogging friends,Today is the Colour Create challenge. You are going to love to work with these colours!!! The challenge was set by the very talented Karen and she has chose BLUE, WHITE and SILVER with extra option glitter and winter. The Design teams cards are gorgeous!! Make sure to stop by and have a look. I hope you can join us this week.
We had a lot of entries for the White on White. Thanks for joining us. I had fun stopping by your blogs.

Here is a little inspiration to get you started.

This week our sponsor is Handy Hippo.
I have used a another very cute little image by Renee Mullen with Plum Purdy Designs. Her designs are so easy and fun to work with. I have to tell you that this card was a true challenge for me as I normally use 3 or 4 papers and this time I only used 2. I also painted my image and then wanted it to look somewhat like a window so I cut it into 9 little pieces and glued it to some blue card stock. Okay now this was a sick feeling after I had just spent a good bit painting it. Have you ever done this before? It was my first time and my tummy turned as I did the cutting. LOL........I also used my sanding pad and sanded the edges after I used distressed ink on them. I have also use a single little bird stamp by Renee and added it to the snowflakes in the right hand upper corner. I have added pearls to the snowman/women's apron and added glitter for the sparkle. I have use a beautiful satin white ribbon and added silver domes down the middle of it. I have sewn the card and finally added some Crystal Lacquer to the hat, scarf, birdhouse and birds for a bit of gloss.

Can you see the faint silhouette of the Santa's sleigh and reindeer just above the left corner of the image window?

Okay I am rambling. SORRY!..... I will just let you look now..

Thanks for stopping by to see my little work's of art.

Have a WONDERFUL day,
hugs, janny.

Yes I have done this technique before but it was when you stamped a solid image and wha la you were done. I would have a real hard time now that it takes so long to color an image in. ha ha! You did a super duper job with this!!!!!! That snowman is totally ADORABLE!!!!! The bird in the corner is such a cute touch!! Love it girl!

Hugs, Dena

Great job Janny! I always love your designs. I still have the one I won several months back. I often look at it for inspiration. And even though it's only 2 papers this time, the design didn't suffer! Great stuff! TFS

This turned out wonderfully, but I don't think I am skilled enough in the art of repositioning to try this for myself. It must have been frightening slicing into such a cute lil snowman!! The end result is fantastic, as if I am looking out a Victorian window, gorgeous!! And I am loving that snowflake with a little birdie perched on it, too cute!!

I sent you an email yesterday, but I might not have done enough to say HEY HEY this is NOT spam, lol.

Take Care,
Stephanne
