Manga Boy by Sugar Nellie....

hello all,
Well it's the middle of the week again already. I hope that your week so far has been great.

I have been excited to list today....Last week I entered the Creative Inspirations Wednesday Challenge and I won!!! :o) I was shocked when Nat emailed me and told me I had won and the prize was a guest DT position for the month of August. So instead of just playing along I get to be some of the inspiration. I hope that I can inspire you. The challenge this week is for doodling. Well as for me and cards go that is a big stretch. I do some faux stitch here and there but not often. So I was kind stumped. Then decided that I would do my doodling with my scissors. I know that does sound strange! But I do doodle with my scissors as I don't draw any lines to be cut out. I just picture in my head what I want or look at something and I cut it.
For me that is doodling. :o) So I cut out a frog to go with my cute Manga Boy. When I had my pieces cut for this little frog I used my chalks to shade him and my acrylic paints to paint the spots and his eyes. I also used my acrylic paint to do the line work. The sign that he is holding I have did linework or doodles so that it looks like a wooden frame. I then pieced him together.
A paper piecing.
So tell me is that doodling or not??
I have painted my cute little Manga Boy by Sugar Nellie with my copics and watercolor pencils. Did some layering with my card design. Stitched the card and added all the little details. It was fun. I LOVE that little rusty star! :o)

I would love to hear your thoughts on doodling.
Have a great rest of the week.......and don't forget to come back tomorrow and check out my blog candies.
hugs janny
