Manga girl by Sugar Nellie

Good afternoon everyone,

Well, I have to say that the wedding yesterday was great!!! We all had a GRAND time. Had so much fun that today I woke up with a headache. hahaha.... My girlfriend looked so HAPPY!!!!!

Okay, on to my card for the day. This card was lots of fun to make. It is called a SIDE KICK card. This is my first of this type. Creative Inspirations Wednesday Challenge blog has SIDE KICK cards for this weeks challenge. The Design Team has wonderful inspiration so I decided to give it a shot. If you get a chance go over a have a look.

I have made this card to also fit the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge which is called Child's Play. So I have made this card very bright and cheery for a little girl with lime green and many shades of blue with a touch of yellow. Look at those cute little sun glasses she has dropped in the sand. I have cut a flower and a leaf out of the back paper and popped them on the left side along with a big bright polka dot bow and acrylic flower in the middle. I have also added ric rack and half pearls and my little signature bow on the top right corner. I colored my cute little Manga girl #1 by Sugar Nellie with copic marker, watercolor pencils stickles have been added to my image in places for a bit of fun sparkle. This card has been sewn inside and out.
I have not added any wording just yet. I like to leave my cards whith until ready to use so that I can get the words just right. :o) But I will put them front and center on the top of the card.

The circle paper is just not right in color. It really is more greenish. :o(

Thanks for stopping by today.
Wishing you all a great week,
janny
